What exactly is a Health Coach?
Simply put, Health Coaches support clients to achieve their health goals (whatever they may be), through lifestyle and behavior modifications. It is an individualized approach to whatever issues the client wishes to improve upon, whether that be de-stressing, gaining energy, losing ten pounds, improving nutrition, or simply those needing support on how to maintain a healthier lifestyle.
Health Coaches are trained wellness authorities (I’ve personally studied over 100 dietary theories). We mentor, inspire, and motivate our clients and guide them to encorporate positive health choices into their daily lives.
How is it different from going to a medical doctor, or a dietician?
Health Coaches do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. They do not prescribe meal plans as Registered Dietitians do.
Do sessions have to be done in person?
No. Currently, you have the option of having your sessions in person, or via Skype.
